The poems, dances, and musical numbers of Ice Scream Theater can be served a la carte as performance art pieces. (NOTE: these can also be used to promote complete show.)
- Ice Scream Mime
- Darkly minimalist title song for Ice Scream Theater performed in mime. C.M. Soto is costumed in an ice scream man suit and eerie mask. The song is classically performed in a box, jack-in-the-box style.
- Keeper of the Lops
- Original poem that is a haunting slice-of-life with C.M. Soto dressed like a doll playing with a dollhouse and dolls made of trash and paraphernalia. These “Lopdolls” represent the addicts of her mother’s house.
- Delightning
- The original electro-ballad, Delightning has a choreographed dance using fans made of textbook pages and vinyl records created by C.M. Soto.
- Luna
- The high-energy electronic song, Luna is the soundtrack to a cheeky burlesque-influenced dance performed inside a floor-length birdcage skirt created by C.M. Soto.
- Easy
- This original poem with an accompanying slide show of Hurricane Katrina images is set to a music box version of “What a Wonderful World,” by Louis Armstrong. It is an ode to the many faces of New Orleans.
- Bonecho
- This ethereal original ballad is performed in wings made of vinyl records with optional avant-garde multi-media accompaniment.
- Storage
- An original poem performed with a stylized music box and set to a music box version of “Entry of the Gladiators (Thunder and Blazes),” by Julius Fučík.
- These are the Rooms To my Mother’s House
- C.M. Soto in her classic doll costume and mask recites this original poem through a broken window pane. A music box accompanies her fairy tale nightmare.
- These are the Rooms To my Mother’s House
- The original poem set to a short film representing dilapidation. C.M. Soto is a living sculpture beside or below the film, dressed like a lop doll with an eerie mask.
