Surround-sound theater assaults the senses in this story of a young girl’s escape from drug addiction. A chilling narrative, shock-poetry, projected imagery, and unnerving video illuminate her journey from being an addict’s child to becoming an addict, then mother herself. Avant-garde ballads and burlesque-influenced dance punctuate this true story by New Orleans multi-disciplinary artist, C.M. Soto. Set to a score of original music by UFO Death Cult, this performance art musical echoes Pink Floyd’s, “The Wall” and Tom Waits’, “What’s he Building in There?” Adult themes. Mild nudity. Subtle comedy.
